The building will be used primarily by Nabuurs for further expansion for existing clients. It will also become the new head office for the company, which has been based in Haps for many years. Construction of the distribution centre has already started.<\/p>\n<p>The distribution centre, which will be built by Heembouw, consists of over 29,000 m\u00b2 of distribution space, 3,200 m\u00b2 of mezzanine space and 1,500 m\u00b2 of office space. The building will be equipped with solar panels and upon completion will have BREEAM certification &#8216;Very Good&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>abrdn will take ownership of the building on behalf of one of its funds and will finance the construction by forward-funding. Nabuurs has issued a long-term lease commitment for this purpose.
