The project is being developed by Stellar Development and Heembouw. Vega Amsterdam comprises approximately 35,800 sq m in total, consisting of 31,130 sq m of warehouse space, 3,552 sq m of mezzanine space and 1,100 sq m of office space. The development is situated at Business Park Amsterdam Osdorp, a strategic location near Schiphol Airport, offering excellent access to the A5 and A9 motorways. Heembouw commenced construction at the end of October 2026. The construction period is expected to take approximately twelve months, with completion of the development anticipated towards the end of 2027.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A new future-proof facility for Lamme Textile Management<\/strong><br \/>Lamme Textile Management specialises in textile cleaning and laundry services and will establish a new, modern laundry facility at Vega Amsterdam. With this new location, the company is investing in the continued development and sustainability of its operations. Situated between Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport, the location provides Lamme Textile Management with an excellent operational base, close to its customers and key transport infrastructure. The company expects to commence operations at its new facility in early 2028.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sustainability and architecture at the forefront<br \/>\n<\/strong>Vega Amsterdam has been designed by Heembouw Architecten and features a distinctive timber arch structure, green fa\u00e7ades and a vegetated roof. The building will be equipped with solar panels, fully electric building systems and various features designed to enhance biodiversity. Upon completion, the development will comply with the Dutch Nearly Zero Energy Building (BENG) requirements and is expected to achieve the NL Green Label certification and a BREEAM Very Good rating. The development forms part of the second phase of Business Park Amsterdam Osdorp. The business park has achieved the highest BREEAM-NL Communities certification, Outstanding. Area developer SADC and the Municipality of Amsterdam are working together to further develop the park into a sustainable and circular business location.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Necron Group acquires Vega Amsterdam<\/strong><br \/>\nThe logistics development has recently been acquired by Necron Group, an international real estate investor with a European logistics portfolio. Through this acquisition, Necron Group expands its portfolio with a high-quality, sustainable logistics development in a strategic location within the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.
