Amsterdam, 11 February 2026 – AM has sold a new 45,000 m² logistics centre at Schiphol Trade Park to Savills Investment Management. Immediately following the acquisition, the first lease agreement was signed with Van der Helm Logistics. Construction will be carried out by construction company Aan de Stegge, with completion scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
The project is located at one of Europe’s most future-proof logistics hubs. Schiphol Trade Park is a joint development by Schiphol, the Municipality of Haarlemmermeer, and SADC, and is internationally recognized as a benchmark for sustainable, climate-adaptive, and energy-positive area development.
The design by CONVEX Architects integrates logistics, ecology, and energy into one cohesive system. The façades will feature climbing plants that give the building a green appearance, enhance biodiversity, and contribute to a healthier working environment. The office volumes will include a green roof with water retention capacity. The surrounding landscape is designed for water storage and resilience against extreme rainfall and heat.
Energy-Positive and Future-Proof
The project forms part of the Schiphol Trade Park Energy Hub (the virtual grid ECOS), developed in collaboration with, among others, Joulz. The roof of the warehouse will be fully equipped with solar panels, combined with a ground-level battery for energy storage and balancing. Biobased materials, including CLT (cross-laminated timber), will also be used, contributing to a low environmental footprint and a future-proof construction approach.
