The Port of Rotterdam has leased approximately 12,000 m² in the ‘Scheepsbouwloods’ located at the RDM in Rotterdam.
At the beginning of 2024, the division and renovation of a large part of the Scheepsbouwloods will be fully completed. Previously, De Haas already rented over 4,000 m² of industrial space for shipbuilding and repair activities. In addition, Paebbl has leased the remaining part of the building, totaling approx. 5,500 m² of industrial space, approx. 1,200 m² of office space, and approx.1,500 m² of yard. Paebbl was already based at the RDM but is expanding its operations in the Scheepsbouwloods. Paebbl has developed unique technology to convert CO2 into sustainable building materials.
With this transaction, the last remaining unit and with this, the entire building, has been leased on a long-term basis again.
