AMSTERDAM, 4 JULY 2024 – White House Development B.V. and Green Real Estate B.V. have signed a lease agreement with Vortex Logistics for a new distribution center, named DC1220, located at Nieuwe Gouwe Oostzijde 40, Municipality of Gouda.
The building will be developed on a plot of over 4 hectares. The warehouse will be 23,563 m², with two office spaces totaling approximately 1,700 m², and a mezzanine floor of 2,385 m². A total of 134 parking spaces will be created. Vortex Logistics, a subsidiary of De Klok Logistics, will use the building for its logistics services, including storage and distribution of goods. The lease term is 10 years.
Heembouw will construct the building. Heembouw Architects are responsible for the design The 15-meter-high building is designed with sustainability in mind and will receive a BREEAM Excellent certification. Groundwork has already begun, and the project is expected to be completed in Q2 2025.
The development is a joint venture between White House Development and Green Real Estate.
