SCHIPHOL AIRPORT 19 December 2018 – Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe B.V. has sold her industrial estate in Almere to a private investor. Mitsubishi will lease back approx. 7,000 sq m for a longer period.
The building consists of 32,500 sq m in total, has been built in 5 phases during the past 30 years and was in use as a production and logistics plant for the Mitsubishi forklift trucks. Because of the recent relocation of the production activities to Finland, a major part of the building became vacant.
The purchaser will invest in the building in order to create a production plant for Bio Gas and Bio Plastics.
